Bruschetta beef naan

Bruschetta Beef Roll on Flatbread with Sweet Tomato Mayo

Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 35 minutes

These slider-sized wraps eat like a taco but taste like sitting at a high top on a pier jutting out into the Mediterranean. That's where the first bite transported me, anyway. Try them out to see where they take your tastebuds.

    Ground Beef Rolls Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1/3 cup red onion (finely diced)

  • 1 egg

  • 3/4 cup bread crumb

  • 2 garlic cloves (finely diced)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1 pinch cinnamon

    Bruschetta Ingredients
  • 1 cup tomato (chopped)

  • 1 tablespoon red onion (finely diced)

  • 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

    Sweet Tomato Mayo Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup tomato (chopped)

  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 3/4 cup mayo

    Ground Beef Rolls Directions

  1. Play with your food

Mix together all ground beef ingredients.

  2. Just roll with it

Form the mixture into rolls around 3” in length and 1/2” in diameter.

  3. Chill out

    Refrigerate and hold for grilling.

    Bruschetta Directions

  1. Are you ready to mix it up?

    Bring together the bruschetta mix.

  2. Stay cool

Refrigerate and hold for topping your flatbread.

    Sweet Tomato Mayo Directions

  1. Sweet acidity

Combine tomato, vinegar and sugar in a small pan and place on the stove over medium-high heat.

  2. Melt down

Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and tomatoes soften.

  3. Give it a rest

Set aside and cool to room temperature.

  4. Try not to splash

    Combine mixture with the mayo.

    Grilling Directions

  1. Fire it up!

Lightly brush your naan bread with olive oil and throw on the grill for 15 seconds on each side – just enough to warm. Set aside.

  2. Put the meat on the heat

Grill your beef and remember to get those grill marks to give it a nice flavor.

    Serving Directions

  1. Flavorful foundation

Spoon a little of your tomato mayo onto the flatbread and spread it around.

  2. That's a wrap!

Place a leaf of your buttery bibb on and cover with the beef and bruschetta.

  3. Post-credits scene

If you’re feeling extra sassy, spoon a little more tomato mayo over everything.

Tip: This dish goes great with sweet potato fries. Enjoy!
