
Not Your Normal Turkey Reuben
What makes a Reuben a Reuben? If you said corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and rye bread then you already know why we think of this sandwich as not quite normal. It may not be traditional, but it is abnormally delicious.

Celeriac Apple Slaw Ingredients

1 cup celeriac (cut the size of matchsticks)

1/2 cup Evercrisp apples (diced)

1 cup red or green cabbage (shredded )

1/2 teaspoon celery salt

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon plain yogurt

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 pinch cinnamon

Sauce Ingredients

1 tablespoon mayo
-
1 tablespoon Good Life Naturals ketchup

Sandwich Ingredients
-
8 ounces Boar's Head Simply Smoked Turkey

1 loaf Sunflower Flax Bread

1 tablespoon olive oil
-
It's slaw right
Mix all the slaw ingredients together.

Let mix'n chill
Place in the fridge until ready to build your sandwich.

Stir together mayo and ketchup.

Time to slice
Cut four 1" thick slices of bread.

Pack your flax
Start building your sandwiches by putting the turkey on two slices of bread.

Slaw-esome sauce
Add the slaw on top of the turkey and sauce the top pieces of bread.

Roasty toasty
Add half the olive oil to your favorite toasting pan and let it heat.Then place both sandwiches in the pan with the turkey side on top.

Grip and flip
When toasted to your satisfaction, get a grip on the sandwich with tongs or spatulas and turn it over to toast the other side using the remaining olive oil.

Out of the frying pan...
After it's toasted on both sides, remove the sandwich from the pan and enjoy!
